Anti-suit injunctions, developed by the common law system, prevent the filing of a claim with a foreign court that lacks jurisdiction, according to English judges, so that there is only one legal proceeding. Anti-suit injunctions are decisions preventing a party from filing or pursuing a claim in another jurisdiction.
