The Members of the Hague Conference on Private International Law formally approved on 19 March 2015, the Principles of Choice of Law in International Commercial Contracts. The "Principles" technicaly speaking designate 12 well-writen and simple articles and a comprehensive commentary of 65 pages. The text of the Principles in itsef is not surprising: The Principles affirm party autonomy as a basis for the choice of law in International Commercial Contracts. They give the party the utmost power to choose the law.
