With this chronicle, we wish to explore the different areas in which the presence of informal sources of international commercial law can be perceived, and the question of the role played by these sources in the legal system. This question, which is very much part of the discussions on international commercial law, also affects more and more domestic law lawyers. These flexible sources unquestionably serve as a vehicle for the harmonization of rights and conducts, as well as for ethics.
