These articles make a short overview of both arbitration laws and practice, which share many common traits (with Mozambican law having a closer connection with the Model-law). The two laws are generally modern and arbitration-friendly, even if some aspects could be improved. Among the most relevant differences, the fact that Angola is not a signatory of either the New York or Washington Conventions stands out.
